After the recent storms, Brabee Pirnie volunteered her time at the Montgomery Botanical Gardens at Oak Park. She picked up trash, storm debris and weeds.
Thank you Brabee for your hard work. She is the granddaughter of our Board member Cathy Maddox.
If you or a group you know want to volunteer, please let us know at info@montgomerybotanicalgardens.com or sign up for our newsletter.
One area where we have planted most of the plants is the small hill at the entrance. When you look down the hill now, you can see daffodils in the spring. Later in the spring, we have various types of hydrangeas, Anthony Waterer spirea, Oakleaf hydrangeas, various ferns, dogwoods, ajuga, and many other plants.
A botanical garden is a living museum that takes constant care and love. Please consider a membership or donation and help us continue to grow.

Today we are looking back on the past three years to highlight our progress in establishing a botanical garden in Montgomery for our citizens.
All the pictures are the same section of the garden. If you stand at the entrance and look to your right towards Forest Avenue, you will see the section we are highlighting today.
Help us to continue and grow. Please give a donation today.
