Garden Volunteers

On Saturday, October 16, members of the Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity volunteered at the Montgomery Botanical Gardens. These men are veterans, active and retired servicemen from all of the US military branches. Working along with MBG regular volunteers, they helped dig up and transport some of the granite ballast stones that are used for edging planting beds in the gardens. Their strength and enthusiasm made quick work of this important task. Such generous community volunteers are vital to the continued success of the gardens.
