Tips to help your garden flourish
Mulching:
Mulch helps control weeds in perennial and long-season crops such as asparagus, strawberries, tomatoes and peppers. Six to eight inches of pine straw, leaves and well-decomposed sawdust will help with weeds. Mulch also cuts down on evaporation of soil moisture.
