Master Gardener volunteers begin propagation of plants in MBG greenhouse

Master Gardener Volunteers, Karin Carmichael, Tom McLemore, Dave Toellner, Elain Gault, Jamie Walcott, Linda Graydon and Cathy Maddox began this season of propagation of plants, seeds, cuttings and bulbs in the greenhouse. The MBG Greenhouse was donated, constructed and is maintained by members of the MBG Project Committee of the Capital City Master Gardener Association.

Recently the group separated and repotted many plants including Prostrate Rosemary, Bee Balm, Crinum Lilies, Aloe, Begonia, Roses, Chives, and many more.  These plants were donated by other members of CCMGA. While providing excellent opportunities for Master Gardeners to earn volunteer hours, their work will provide many plants for a variety of purposes. The Board of Directors of Montgomery Botanical Gardens is sincerely grateful for the work, expertise and generosity of this group of volunteers.
