The Montgomery Botanical Gardens Board of Directors invite you to spread a little holiday cheer!

We are asking businesses, civic organizations and individuals to sponsor a holiday exhibit in the gardens for the citizens of Montgomery to enjoy. These creative displays will compete for best illustrations of our theme of “Peace and Joy”.

In keeping with our designation as a Garden of Peace, our theme for the displays is “Peace and Joy.” We ask that you create a freestanding display no larger than 4 feet wide by 6 feet long that encourages meditation and quiet reflection during the holiday season. Your entry will be prominently identified with the name of your choice. No electrical power is available in the Southern Garden, so plan your display accordingly.

Displays should be constructed to withstand outside weather. Each participating group will be asked to submit a $10 Registration fee to cover administrative costs. Setup will be November 29 – December 1. All displays must be removed on December 22 by 4:00 pm.

To encourage community support for the Botanical Gardens, we will offer online voting to help select the most outstanding displays. Voters can record their $1 per vote donation on our website.

Online votes will comprise 50% of total votes. Voters may vote as often as they desire by making the $1 donation. Additionally, we will provide outside judges to evaluate the displays on best illustrations of Peace and Joy for the remaining 50% of votes. First, Second and Third place awards will be announced on December 15.

Displays will be on exhibit throughout the Southern Garden from December 1 through December 21, 2019.

We urge you to join our holiday celebration by submitting your entry. Deadline for registering your project is November 15.
