On July 20th, Roma Pirnie decided surprising her Grandmother would be the greatest gift of all for her birthday this year. Setting up a table at her birthday party she requested, instead of gifts, that guest make a contribution to the Montgomery Botanical Gardens. 
Roma’s family has strong ties with
MBG, her Grandmother, Cathy Maddox is the treasurer and her parents Rob and Natalie Pirnie are MBG members as well.
Roma’s selfless act raised over $550 for the garden. Thank you Roma, you may have started a trend!
