The Montgomery Botanical Gardens at Oak Park installed new officers for 2023. They are President, Cathy Maddox; Vice President, Dr. Tyna Davis; Secretary, Mary George Jester; and Treasurer, Mike Jones. The new year for the gardens will begin by welcoming three new outstanding board members also, Rand Neeley, Catherine Woodson and Kay Brummal. The goals for the coming year include continued development and maintenance of the gardens, increasing MBG memberships and offering a variety of educational and entertaining events in the gardens. Mrs. Maddox encourages residents and visitors alike to spend some time in the gardens and to consider becoming a MBG volunteer.
