The Montgomery Botanical Gardens at Oak Park held our second Volunteer Day this morning. Volunteer Days are the second Thursday of the month at 8:30 am. Email info@montgomerybotanicalgardens.com if you would like to get notices.
Volunteers pulled some weeds, picked up limbs but, most importantly, we discovered the irrigation system was malfunctioning. Property Management Sources and Parks & Rec solved the issue quickly. We are grateful to our volunteers who got to play in the sprinklers a little too.
